What I enjoyed from that game is, unlike under a certain previous manager, when we went 1-0 down I knew it was still going to be worth watching the 2nd half as we’d give it a decent go. Well played lads, you’ve earned a few days rest.

On a random side note, the commentary on TNT is really decent. Not just Carragher talking uninformed and biased BS. Actual insight and knowledge, talking about Beto playing alongside Deulofeu last season and how well O’Brien played at Lyon last year

He`ll be OK for the rest of this season but we must have better if we want to be doing anything next season.

He`s had his purple spell and he`ll now go back to missing chance after chance, missing 3 one on ones is criminal especially when it costs your team 2 points.

Beto had a bad day, but kept getting into great positions. A shame he couldn’t take one but we keep backing him.

A great point. Could’ve been more but this is yet more evidence we’re on the up. Next season I’m mad that we don’t win a match like that… but this season it’s only an irritation. This season I’m just relived to not be worried about not winning.
