Let's not pretend FL is some hapless victim here. He had all summer to prioritize a striker, but instead he chose to put all his eggs in Britney's basket. Rookie mistake from a rookie manager, who continues to try a tinpot, toothless front 3 of no marks when he could have chosen to try to find a way of getting something out of a Rondon-Dele partnership (not great, but at least they are forwards) and/or not sent the U21 strikers out on loan right at the start of the season when we were crying out for forwards and who would be desperate to grab their chance. This is as much on him as anyone else.
