🤣🤣🤣✅

I went to the game and am only now starting to come down after an epic Everton away day. When I left home I was apprehensive but as my journey from London progressed I became more confident as Leicester got mauled at Fulham and the team news came through of Mina and Patterson starting.
I have followed Everton away for over 40 years and I sensed that my growing confidence before kick off that we could get a point was shared by fellow Evertonians at the ground.
The support for the team was immense and scoring in the first minute turned the volume up even more and it remained this way throughout the match. Even when we were under the cosh in the second half the support remained vocal and encouraging rather than vitriolic(massive contrast to some other games this season).
in true Evertonian fashion no-one was confident of victory until the 95th minute but the atmosphere at the end was brilliant as we “retired” to the stadium bars to carry on the celebrations.
On the journey back to London I met some fellow Evertonians including an 8 year old who had got Pickford’s gloves at the end of the game…he’s also a ST holder but lives in London!

A special mention to all Evertonians at the match yesterday as the timing of it caused maximum inconvenience but you never wavered in your desire to be there and support our team…I bet the journey home was memorable.

Up the Toffees.

Although I could have given MOM to almost all of them I settled for Pickford in the end because when we were ahead he kept us in the game at that stage. COYB.
