You know what, this is probably the best game to get our 45 minutes out of Mina before the end of the season. I was having nightmares of Mitoma running at Keane

Dyche telling everyone how boss Keane has been and then boots him and brings in Mina. Correct decision of course and made up he has done it but when it comes to honesty and integrity, Dyche has zero. There was no need to inflate him so much other than his own stubbornness and defensiveness and if he had dropped him a few games ago, the team may have done better and been more solid in defence.
Don't think that's fair on Dyche. Everyone knows and none more than Dyche that Keane is only ever somewhat ok as a footballer when his confidence is high, he's attrocious otherwise. Dyche was merely trying to build the lad's confidence as numerous managers had done before to get a run out of him, just proved one too many and he's clearly just not a top level footballer.

It's one thing I wouldn't get too hung up on Dyche about because it is easy to see what he was going for, he just got it all wrong. If we stay up then we can call it fair play, boot Keane out in the Summer and go again with Branthwaite and Tarkowski as the starting pair.

Yes agree, his handling of the defence, bringing Holgate back, Godfrey at full back etc abysmal, then Keane.
Just hope mina doesnt hobble off after 10 mins🫤

If that team was available and played the majority of the season, and under a competent manager, that’s top half.

lol get a grip will you

If Mina gets through this unscathed and puts in a good performance, I reckon he gives Haaland a torrid time. Wind up merchant galore

Boost Keane's confidence ahead of dropping him is a very good idea as Yerrold is likely not going to last the 90 and so Keane might be coming in at some point.
