I never sang it and I'm disgusted and offended that you did.....is the sort of homophobic chant from yesteryear that thankfully we don't use anymore, I agree mate

Not having that mate. You clearly said "we don't sing it any more". That implies you used to. Along with others. Was it some kind of homophobic choir?Thank goodness I've never been to a football match in my life and haven't even boo'd in a live environment

Ex ref peter Walton comes on live tv and says Salah dives but he would have given it if it was at Anfield . HmmThere's a lot of truth in that. Sir Alex Ferguson definitely tried to influence referees by his actions; such was his prestige in football that he was able to get away with things most managers wouldn't. One referee - it may have been David Ellary, but I'm not 100% sure - said in his book that there was tremendous pressure on refs from certain clubs, with fans in some cases finding out referees' home addresses and sending them hate mail. It's clear that Liverpool are similarly "favoured", partly because there are so many former Liverpool players in the media.
Look at last season - we got a clear penalty at Anfield in the league (Our first since Tommy Lawton's days); thanks to Klopp's antics and the ex RS media mafia, that was deemed "controversial", and we all knew that the RS would get a soft pen against us in the cup match, which duly happened.
Referees don't knowingly go out to favour certain clubs, but the unconscious bias is clearly there.
Can't remember mate. Just found it quite amusing and not high up on the offensive scale coz I don't think it's hate driven. Other favourites include the Carlos tevez song and the park ji sung one, both controversial in their own ways.Goodness I hope not. Where did you learn those words by the way?

Anyhow Everton to win by 2 clear net busters.I think it is good that society (the 'we') as a whole has moved on from this sort of repugnant singing, and I am glad you agree too.
