I don’t really get why people try posting the lineup early anyway. Even in the event they’re right, everyone will wait for the official announcement on the off-chance they’ll get the stick they want to beat the poster with. If they’re even slightly wrong they’ll get a barrage of abuse. Just swerve it.

Meh, personally im not that arsed about getting the team 2hours before.

I mean in this case Gana probably had a late fitness test, it happens, things can change hourly in football, transfers, team news, its the nature of the business. So whilst people might have sources, most sources wont be handing out hourly updates.

Would actually like to see Bernard Central today and Richy and Walcott/ Lookman out wide. If McCarthy is fit would ideally like to see him partner Gomes to do the job of sweeping up when the fullbacks bomb forward. Maybe with the expected rotation we'll see the Baines in midfield experiment lol

Lookman is apparently just back from injury but not sure how legit that is. Reading between the lines, I’d suggest he gave it the first half of the season to see if he could break into the team and, now he hasn’t, he’ll be clamouring for his Bundesliga move again.

Tosun is gone, I reckon, because he did a low-rent Jelavic impression and turned out to be a little bit poo even after a full preseason.
