I’m totally opposed to this in music, speaking as a gigging musician myself.

It’s one thing using it to isolate tracks, but to “create” something I find it creepy. Uncanny valley etc.

I mean, you’ve got people doing it with John Lennon, Freddie Mercury and others.

Not for me.

I'm partial to Plankton from SpongeBob singing Adele.

I hear it all the time. Mind you I have the CD, it's on my Ipod and on my liked Spotify list.

Where are you seeing them. Seem to recall them playing really small venues which surprised me a bit. Looking forward to the new album.
