Pinning the bones helps one hell of a lot but to get back to fitness a bit longer me thinks.

This, I broke my collar bone and had to have a plate inserted the length of my shoulder, was only a day case and went from having zero mobility and strength and a lot of pain to no pain and full mobility and I would say 50% strength!
 
crutches are just used as support when you can't keep your balance at times though?

he's sitting down so doesn't really need them for this exercise.

Yeah suppose your right mate, he was saying the start of last week on twitter that he was starting to walk normally again this week, so maybe he is off them. Great if he is and good luck to him.
 


Could he just be doing that to prevent muscle wastage, with no impact on the legs i can see that this would be possible so soon, but running is another story
 
Take it easy, Bryan, don't overdo it and risk complications.

As much as I cannot wait to see him in royal blue coming out to a thunderous Goodison cheer, more than that I hope he makes it to rep Costa Rica in the World Cup.
