Because I see a lot of promise in this lad and I think the club is going to waste it and the aforementiond idiots are just making me even more annoyed about it than I already am, which is a lot
But you see no promise in Delouefufu? Look, you may be right and he is a good player struggling to establish himself because of Baines, but you are making this judgement on the same amount of game time as those you are calling idiots are.

Delouefufu has played many more minutes than Oviedo

If Oviedo had played as much as him and people had the complaints they had, I'd be more inclined to not get annoyed

Well, Deulofeu seems to go down easier than your... okay, I won't go there, but he fell down twice with no one near him last time, for no reason. If he manages to learn how to pass and stay on his feet when there's a mild breeze - he'd be fantastic.

That's not what I was trying to say. You are calling people idiots for making a judgement after 130 minutes, but you see an awful lot of promise in him from the same amount of time.

Can only assume he doesn't inspire faith defencively in training. I've seen him look decent and a bit poor, never terrible or really brilliant. If he does get a month in the team, it'll be a proper way to assess him at least.

I would imagine that Oviedo hasn't been on the bench because Heitinga specialises in a more crucial position and Stones has the versatility to play in a few positions. Under normal circumstances we'd be very unlikely to replace Baines or Pienaar with Oviedo.

I'm quite looking forward to him getting a month in the side, unless Martinez decides to play in another way.

And potentially drop points. Just watched the derby again. Barry looked Boss in there. No brainer.

Give Oviedo a run in the team now and see what he can do after a few games.

No point in judging the guy with him having one game here and there, he needs a consistent run in the team and with Baines out he should get it now and we will see what he is up to.
