Kompany had the biggest budget in the league last season, had previously struggled at Anderlecht too.

I think they’re being massively overhyped.

I dunno. Whilst he spent money they seemed to have been smart with it and it’s quite mad just how transformed their playstyle is after he arrived. Think they’ll probably struggle but hats off to him for banishing Dyche-ball after just one season.

Same style as Anderlecht, they weren’t overly successful during his campaign.

Had it not been for Kompany’s past record as a player, I don’t think he’d be getting as much praise.

I’ve seen things seeing them finishing top half, averaging around about 12th.

I just don’t think they’ll do as well as many seem to think.

But credit for changing philosophy, a much better watch, might make Burnley away less tedious this season.

Burnley fans probably have the same bitterness that Bolton fans have had since 98 with us, that we stayed up over them

Defo this - I didn’t realise how much Bolton despised us til i started working with a Bolton lad. He hates us with a passion.

Burnley fans will be the same, plus you’ve got the FFP cryarsing from them and us having the ginger gravel gargler as our gaffer.

I read the below article on Social media this morning. The comments below it were colourful to say the least

Like West Ham, and Newcastle before them, Burnley seem to believe that they are involved in an eternal blood feud with us, and can't wait to put us to the sword next season. Most of them seem to think they are already operating on another level than us, because they have signed a few players this summer, like most promoted teams do

Please prepare yourselves for some 'megabantz' this season from these lot
