Please God not Holgate and Godfrey together at the back, Branthwaite has to come in for this, we need someone with a presence,it's going to get physical, its all they are capable of launching balls into the box.
They at least have a bit of pace about them and can put a tackle in.

It's the aerial threat I'm more worried about, they have no other threat other than long balls, throw ins ,corners, set pieces, we simply cannot cope unless Mina is there which he is not.

This is the type of match that this Everton side lose. It is a must win game, our poor wee retiring minions don't really like pressure; Burnley are going to use all their physicality, again our football purists don't really stand up to a tackle.
Let us not dwel on the negatives, yesterday we showed some form of attacking acumen, DCL clipped the woodwork, Richy had two good chances to score, if we get three chances against Burnley and take two we can win or at least get a draw. I fear Burnley from set pieces, I think they will just play for set pieces and hope to pick us off from a high ball launched into the box.
It isn't going to be pretty, it doesn't need to be, it just needs to be a win.

I'd like a front 3 to include Dobbin, reason being I would just have been running and penetrating these. DCL won't get a sniff against these at all. I don't see the point in playing him

They seem to have ran out of steam after the initial fight back from them in Feb. Played some hard games though. Watch us make Weghorst and Cornet look like Haaland and Mbappe.

It’s a pathetic reason to play a centre forward, but we will need him to defend their set pieces, especially with Keane/Mina out.
