I can't stop thinking abot that Sigurdsson's chance, how the hell has he failed that? In that situation yo have to shoot with your soul and make a hole in the net.

....watching for 90mins was all worthwhile for the pass from Rodriguez to Sigurdsson, it made me laugh and it made me shake my head in disbelief.

The problem with Doucoure & Allan is both do their best work without the ball, it’s why a player like Gomes is introduced. We have threat in the top third and vulnerable defensively, it really is up to Ancelotti to get the balance right.

Glad to see Godfrey getting praise but he has to play alongside Keane. Godfrey MoM.
He look better at emergency LB in a back 4, than he did as an emergency RB in a back 4
maybe the emergency aspect gives him less chances to over think his game and he sticks to KISS and the basics

You've been Evertoned in record time.. wait and see the hope will come back next August only for us to have our teeth kicked in again after a few games..
It seems the past few weeks I have been. At
the beginning of the season I was fooled in record time at believing we could be a better team this season but now I know what the fuss is all about

Main points:
give away an early goal - check
to a player who hasn't scored for over 12 months - check
make a relegation bound team look world class - check
Pickford attempts to give all Evertonians heart failure - check

Obviously we haven't learned the lesson of last week in allowing an oppostition player to take a pot shot along the ground from outside the area and score.

On the positive side, DCL gets another goal, we didn't give away a second goal or lose the game. To be fair to Gylfi he was in the right place to make an attempt on goal which was well saved by Pope. I went for Alex Iwobi as MoM as he owned the right wing for most of the game and defended well when needed, pity most of his crosses went astray. Pickford made a couple of great saves, but still managed to induce massive panic attacks on occasion.

I thought the referee had a good game - for him.

At no point did Burnley look world class. It just didn't happen.

Absolutely no team understanding. Our players take multiple touches before passing because they have no idea where their team mates are or what they're supposed to be doing. Pretty sure Carlo just tells them to go out there and be great... I could do that myself.

Make the rival goalkeeper the best in the World for a game. Check
