I know this sounds very negative, but even if we were to win this game, which I think is unlikely. It doesn't really mean much because Burnley look a championship side this year. Chelsea will destroy us the week after.

Both ancelotti and allan have said that we played well against Leeds. If they are saying that then they surely both dont have a clue. We were at home to a newly promoted team and they had an xg of over 3 to ours around 1. They were a newly promoted team with players like Liam cooper playing. Things are even worse than I thought at this club if that is considered a good performance. It was abysmal

I did wonder if we beat Burnley today who would make it out as a nothing win because of who it is and were they could end,
Every win is big for Everton because as we prove so many times there is no easy game even v the teams we are suppose to beat
v Leeds we could have had at least 4 goals,if we took our chances

There are no easy games in this division anymore, especially when you have collective shithousery at the level of our first team

I mean a lot of this isnt true. The XG was around 2-3 and that included chances for Leeds counting which were offside. We also scored 2 goals, 1 which certainly should have stood, so the Xg was probably quite close if they were counted.

A win against Burnley would have us on 19 through 11 games, having played many of the top teams and more games away than home. It will represent a good, solid start.

As for Chelsea, let's wait and see. We may well be better set up to play such a side. Nobody has destroyed us yet, and weve played sides a fair bit better than Chelsea.

The key is, to win at Burnley, which will not be easy, then let the other games look after themselves.

Let's pull out of the league altogether. What's the point.

Starting to remind me of the Martinez defensive denial.
