Ok I’d say he’s an ok midfielder and I wouldn’t mind him in a 3 with Allan & Doucoure see how he does as opposed to last season playing in a 2 man midfield with Sigurdsson or Gomes.

He’s just not a left back and shouldn’t be getting shoe horned out there just because he’s more ‘experienced’. The lad has no pace about him, he’s slow to react and is prone to giving silly fouls away. I can’t help but feel the lads legs will fold underneath him the minute he ventures a yard into the oppositions half. He’s the least person you want playing in that position.

God help us when starts there next weekend against Chelsea’s decent wingers.

Yeah fair. I’m trying to stay positive. I agree with @Death much better when everton play last thing on a Sunday. That way you can look forward to the game all weekend and not have your weekend ruined by 2 on a Saturday.

The problem they'll have with James is him having a free role, they'll just sit back and allow us to have the ball and just defend the final third.

This stinking form has to end sooner or later. That's two weeks now where we've had the whole week off to prepare for a game. The players out there have no reason to not be 100% fit and ready, but watch them start blowing out of their arses after 50 minutes.
