Mate, we have just wellied the barcodes and chelski off the pitch, we genuinely shouldn't be staining our knicks over big bad Burnley surely? They are utter garbage, so i am going fir us comfortably maintaining our winning streak and our boss away form! Jarrad is a big loss, but the entire team is playing well, not just him. We will volley these curly teethed meffs into oblivion as the big blue machine marches on to glory!
I love your positivity and a lot what you say makes sense. It’s the Everton in me and some on here that is waiting for the bubble to burst.

On the back of recent performances / results I’m quite comfortable expecting us to do well! Fancy a narrow win for the “coiled spring” Toffees, the counter attack maestro’s…
I think we all are. But I hope Dyche has the players grounded and reminding them that games will become more demanding as opponents start to wake up to the form we're in and figure out that we can be very effective without the ball.

Maybe against Burnley - who Kompany won't have play any other way than controlling the ball - we'll keep the momentum on this run. Its a match up that suits us.

But we'll be found out soon enough and hopefully Dyche has another trick up his sleeve.

Definitely this mate. On paper how Burnley typically play is tailor made for us. Kompany really should set up to play longer & try to catch us out to get a lead.

The big question mark on this team is can we come back from going behind against a team we feel we should beat.

we had this pencilled in as a needed 3 points, and results against the barcodes and Chelsea shouldn’t change that view. But any complacency or drop in application and effort from our boys could easily see us turned over, but I’m sure Dyche gets the mindset right. Win this one and it’s a huge statement and provides the beginning of a buffer (expecting the next two games to be losses).

Fantastic opportunity to go 7 points clear of the bottom three. Bournemouth will take care of Luton and Chelsea will either labour to victory or draw with Sheffield United.

If we can achieve that, and with the other sides' fixtures the way they are (very difficult), we ought to be able to get to January and through our games against Spurs (a), City (h) and Wolves (a) being still comfortably clear of the bottom three, albeit maybe not by 7 points.

That said the way we're playing we may even be able to pull away further. To do that we need to ensure we don't let our standards drop or get complacent - there are no easy games and we know we're also fighting a vengeful Premier League that's out to get us.

This is a game that in previous seasons we would lose. I know 4 in a row seems unthinkable, and we have a few players out, but this season we are different.

Burnley thrashed a very poor 10 man Sheffield United, but they won't be doing that to us.

Comfortable 2-0 victory here. We are too solid for them to cause us too many problems, and we will create plenty of chances.

Sheff Utd conceded inside 25 seconds which gave them a mountain to climb and gave Burnley a huge boost. If we can keep it 0-0 for the first 20 minutes that will give us a good platform. They will see this as a massive game, and we need to as well. Can't help remembering that game 2 seasons ago where we had 2 penalties and still contrived to lose the game. I was certain that night that we were relegated!

The pressure on Burnley will be unreal. They'll know if they lose this, they will be 8 points behind. And that's after the deduction!!

They'll come flying out of the traps so we'll need to be on it straight away

So they will effectively be 1 point ahead when we go into administration .. nea , we are not going down this year :)
