We can't play for a draw as they're quite an offensive team. We need to get the ball in the midfield and put them under pressure. They won a lot of games battering teams into submission last year.

Hope so. Branth offered stability to the back line almost immediately after literal years of chaos and mistakes there with the usual suspects playing. I’m very nervous we revert back to what we all came to expect prior to him being given his chance.

We have been good with pressing teams high up the pitch this season. teams that play out from the back kind of suit us. These lot play out from the back with out really having top quality players. I kind of wish Gana wasn’t suspended.

Typical banana skin match this...with our current form you would think this is a no brainer. However this is everton...and often in recent times when we are expected to win we lose. Saying that, even with branthwaite missing we should have more than enough to at least take a point...3 would be ace and see if we can start overtaking more teams at the bottom of the table.

Burnley may well see the game on Saturday, the same way we saw the newcastle and up to a point the chelsea game...and play it accordingly
