This whole story is just horrible. The club has till tomorrow to get itself financially shipshape or they get expelled from the Football League

It would warm the cockles of my heart if all the big clubs in the North West, Everton included, banded together to stop Bury getting expelled from the League, but I doubt that will happen

I'm sure there will still be football played in Bury at some level of the game, but the fact this has been allowed to happen is utterly tragic :(

You even had the Bury website begging there own owner a few weeks ago to sell/take the offer that he was been offered then,it shows how much he is not liked

This will be so sad, when you see a team like united earning billions every year, willing to spend £80m on utter Jarg and lashing 300k a week or whatever it is for someone who doesn't even play, they really could help out bury for a short while.

As sad as it is to see Bury and also Bolton struggling its not up to Everton,City,United, ect to bail them out, having incompetant owners got them into the mess and there have been offers to buy the club but the owner wants more money, the EFL are also to blame for letting this go on and with their fit and proper test,I get the feeling that this will become a house of cards once Bury go and thats why its being allowed to drag on,but if the big clubs bail them out then where do you stop? How small does the club have to be? If its Leeds or Coventry should they also get help?

I can walk to Bury FC from my house.
Sad times.
Seen some great ex-Everton players play for them back in the day.

Shambles what is happening and the authorities can help, should they choose to do so.
Gary and Phil Neville could save them short term, if they wanted to. Local lads and all that.
Not obliged to. But Bury FC employed their old man and effectively paid their school fees!

Even if they are saved, what happens about all the games that they`ve so far been unable to play ?

I know in amateur footy the other team usually gets the points.

If this was the case, then they`re as good as relegated all ready ?
Be almost impossible to fulfill them, same with Bolton but given the choice between relegation and extinction then points deduction every time
