we're the best club he can realistically be 1st choice for. howard is not exactly a world beater, whilst we're on the subject, i have no idea what spurs are doing with 4 good/great keepers, think of the wages ffs. lloris, friedel, gomes and cudicini.

Friedel,Gomes, Cudicini and Gordon would only be understudy to Howard at best for me.

Friedel would be if he were 10 years younger and Gordon would be if he was ever fit. Both better than Howard at their peak i'd say.

i wouldn't take gomes because he has quite a few liabilities, just dont think howard is all that. gordon could have been a terrific keeper had it not been for the injuries, cudicini should have done more with his career rather than be 2nd choice wherever he's gone, and friedel showed yesterday that he still has it at his age.
