Vadis Odidja-Ofoe??

Forgive me if I'm being thick, but does anyone know whats going on with the FIFA decision on this lads loan? I thought it was due to be passed yesterday but I cant find any news on it? Looks a top player from what I've seen and he should get an ealry chance with Gibbo out.

We sent phil neville to point at them until they caved in and let him sign

"Glad to be of service boys"

Whatever about us waiting, spare a thought for Vadis Odidja-Ofoe himself. Hes in limbo, training on his own, not knowing what is happening. There is the matter of Club Brugge themselves, it must be difficult for them, obviously not being really able to let one of their star players train with the rest of the team due to being unsettled.

For him, the least FIFA could do is try to speed things up. It would allow him get on with things and either say his farewells and meet up with his new team mates or else get back into the mix and continue his season with Club Brugge and do his best to help them.

A just do not understand what is taking so long.
A simple yes or no question.
Since it takes so long they probably said no, and we are fighting to change their mind

Was just looking into a few of the Benjani deals.

"On 31 January 2008 he had a bid of around £8m accepted for the transfer of the player. However, it was revealed that Benjani had missed two successive planes to Manchester (supposedly due to his falling asleep at the airport), meaning he did not arrive at the clubs training ground until 11.10pm, leaving insufficient time to complete a move before the midnight deadline.

A transfer was completed for Benjani to move to Manchester City on 5 February 2008"

So that deal took 5 days.

"The Premier League confirmed the paperwork for the switch had been submitted before the transfer deadline, meaning the move will satisfy FIFA, but City had still been arguing the deal was not finalised due to some outstanding issues."

I really don't think its a meeting type of environment where we can put our case. I imagine its a straight out decision from them, yes or no.

I'd say its more we submit the paperwork to them and they are over there in Zurich, with the fax or email from us, with all of our relevant back-up etc. They will then look at it, decide, and either fax or email us their decision.

At the moment, I'd say its sitting in a pile awaiting consultation, and clearly not high priority.

Ronaldo is a bit sad, don't you know? Priorities, priorities!
