Ezz dis big a Claob..

Good post.

No disrespect to West Ham or Leeds, I wouldn't put them in Everton's bracket.

I think Chelsea are in reach.
Re West Ham & Leeds, neither would I but I was just talking from a neutral perspective in the PL era.

With Leeds a lot of their fans on Social Media big them up excessively and talk about their global support. I don't know how accurate it is to say they've got this big global support. On trips outside of Europe I certainly haven't noticed a large amount of Leeds shirts. Their Social Media popularity is also low, compared with a club like Spurs but if you look at Leicester, it's clear that high profile trophy wins and exposure to the PL is a big factor in social media popularity.

One thing I was surprised with them was this though:

Leeds were 16th for kit sales in 2023, way ahead of the non Sky 6 clubs. It's an area we need to improve in massively as I don't see why a club like Leeds should be way ahead of us in this area.

Does it matter what other people think, the only relevant argument in the big club argument is 'Who do you support?' and the answer to that is the answer to the big club argument.

The my club is bigger than yours is no different to your neighbour coming round and talking constantly about how much bigger his shed is than yours. You switch off and let them ramble on about the nothing points.

Shirt sales, attendance, social media following, trophies, who cares how this compares, in the whole scheme of things. Unless of course you are playing Top Trumps then they could all be very important.

How big is your shed though?
