Clinton won the popular vote. Large regions of the world are governed by female Presidents or Prime Ministers. Even Mexico.

Both women were extremely flawed candidates. Neither were good campaigners. Hillary famously refused to campaign in Wisconsin, and in fact thought her time better spent campaigning in the likes of Ohio and Florida under the misapprehension she could win those two states. Harris didn't even reach the first Dem primary during her god awful campaign in 2020. They lost primarily because they were poor campaigners.

Yes, I've heard all the Democrat's excuses for losing the election: We should have had an open convention; Biden should have resigned a year before and should have never announced for re-election... etc, etc, etc
They should have owned up to it in 2016, and as you said, they wanted to blame Clinton for not campaigning in Wisconsin, and appeasing them, as if they would have ever believed her, even if she was being genuine... But no, she should have gone there and campaigned a 100 times.

America re-elected the worst person to ever hold the office of the presidency, and in fact, one of the worst people you've ever produced on so many levels...

The problem is so much deeper than Trump. The 2024 election was a brutal indictment on our society and America as a whole.

It was bad enough he was even nominated by a major party after what he did after losing the 2020 election.

It was dumbfounding that enough people here saw that and was like, yeah that guy's worth it because maybe he has a better chance of making MY life better. We are a broken, overly individualistic society

2024 was the election where the rulers of the US cut the umbilical cord to a percieved democracy.
Some realise and contest that democracy in the West was only ever illusory, now the illusion is removed and the dogs keep nodding out of habit, not awareness. It's naked fascism, the marrying of corporations and state in Mussolini fashion.
Oh, and when I say 'rulers' I don't mean the dancing gibbons on your telly, I mean the ones who pull their strings, the ones you'll never know.
