Agreed. I think that if we were to buy a player like Suarez or Lukaku then that's our whole transfer budget gone. So it's financial backing and lack of a 20+ goal machine that will stop is progressing properly.

We need Robby to find the next up and coming wonder lid for next to nothing! Dam, really happy with this season so far though and long may it continue. COYB

I do believe a veteran core of Barkley, Coleman, Oviedo, and McCarthy will be capable of leading a league-winning side in 4 or 5 years.

Add Lukaku on a perm into that mix there's half of your outfield already sitting on our roster.

Lots of if's and but's but it's not unthinkable.

Because they have money. We don't. Even now they're overperforming despite the millions spent on their side.

Not really, they can spend 100 million in the summer and hire a world class manager then they will be light years ahead of us again
