It’s like them vape sticks. Me and the missus been smoking them for years and never had an issue but if you YouTubed them there would be tons of fear videos saying the batteries blow up all the time.

I don't think it's so much about change - lots of people have jaundiced views on Tesla because of Elon Musk.

Musk may be an absolute business maverick and have some debatable views on all manner of subjects totally unconnected with cars, but the cars his company produce are head and shoulders the best EVs on the market currently, and are likely to be so for some considerable time.
