I just don’t understand Lampard’s thinking with this line up, I’d imagine we’d happily listen to offers for Keane, Holgate, Mina or Doucoure in January so we’ve rightly decided these players aren’t good enough. So why play them in this game? Surely it would be far more useful to give Price, Welch and Mills a go to test them at a higher level.

I don't understand the resting of players we've only got one game left after this for 7 weeks.

I don't think Lampard is going to get sacked, but these performances of late are eroding much of the goodwill from last season. Won't be long before fans start calling for his head if things don't improve.

Past caring, personally. Enjoying the unconventional comedy aspect of our performance.

My only regret is that we'll have fans there who will have travelled down to witness this. These players don't deserve them.
