Yes I agree but we have to be honest it took Iwobi about 2 seasons

Maybe it took the club that long to deploy him properly.

The way Carlo mocked him when he said he was best as a midfielder, and then throwing him in once and never again, that was a crap thing to do. Lampard's not remotely in Carlo's league tactically of course but he's gotten a pretty damn good footballer out of Iwobi.

Think the big problem with the formation is that we just aren’t getting numbers forward or into the box.

Can see our wingbacks picking it up, looking forward for a pass and there’s nobody there. Rondon surrounded and outnumbered.

I dont know if its tactical, or if the players feel as though they cant get forward in the middle, but i'd like to see Onana getting forward more. Iwobi does get forward sometimes and when he does we look more of a threat.

Perhaps when there is a Gana in there, the other will feel more safe getting forward and involved.
