striker w pace in this week please, no one-trick ponies who just sit up top

i don't trust our midfielders to cross a ball properly to a striker who can only head things in

Once again Iwobi was by far our best performer, Onana is going to be some player for us and I was very impressed with young Warrington. I just hope that the few posters who keep calling for 'king Salamon' to start, watched that tonight and saw how out of his depth he was even against opposition as limited as Fleetwood. Even if we have to play Michael Kean up front, he could not possibly be worse than Rondon.

I've thought of this and I don't think I'm the only one. That outside-of-the-foot number he buried to start the comeback against Palace, that was Zlatan-esque. He has a deft touch with a pass, when he's not petrified of giving up a goal.

A new striker can't come quick enough. Everytime Rondon looks through he's offside and when he's not offside he doesn't win the ball, against a league1 team. Anyway happy we are through and happy with the clean sheet

Iwobi MOTM (yet again) because of work rate and skill, closely followed by Gray, Patterson and Onana.

Didn't like to see Welch getting beaten by a League One youngster and a very dodgy defensive header, otherwise adequate for a debut. Warrington was comfortable when he came on, as he has experience at this level. Mills didn't really have much of a chance to make things happen but he looked lively.

And sorry, if Rondon is battling to make an impression against League One defenders, then sell him to Portsmouth or some Romanian side.
