Of course not, but it does shed light on the fact that Ancelotti has largely had world-class players at his disposal, and from this perspective he has underperformed.

He won Serie A once in 13 years, and then he was largely coach for Juventus and Milan. Since then he has coached Chelsea, PSG, Real Madrid, and Bayern. Admittedly, he won the series with Chelsea, PSG and Bayern, but this is no great achievment given that these were dominant clubs in their leagues. It would have been a great achievement if he had managed to repeat his success, but the pattern is that he has been fired in his second season. In addition, he failed in Real Madrid.

My point is that he has underperformed in terms of the players he has available. Furthermore, he also has no experience in coaching non-top clubs. He is also not known as a leader who is at the forefront when it comes to playing style, tactics, and training regime. For me, these are factors that speak against CS.

The google tells me that's where he still is. Bench warming away. 75 international caps though... not the worse career to have had. Plus as previously mentioned, he never suffered long from dandruff.

Well, when you do not possess the best players, you usually have to have a system that compensates for this. This means that the system is the main priority, and you buy players who fit these roles, rather than buying the best individual players. Often, you will also introduce elements into the system that violate the norm and are considered new inventions. However, these are often just old ideas that have taken on a new form. Eg. Many of Klopp's ideas can be traced back to Egil Drillo Olsen, and especially what Olsen called the breakdown. But the point is, since leaving the strict 4-4-2 variant of Sacchi, CS has largely given a lot of individual freedom to their players. This culminated in Bayern Munich where the players eventually did not know what to do on the football field.

Words fail me how this myth is still banded about. There is no Usmanov bank rolling Everton. Just more delusion from our fans like an alcoholic denying they have a problem.

Our REAL owner needs to pull his bloody finger out and start managing the club properly by first getting rid of Kenwright who was nowhere to be seen when we were in the Silva crisis but as soon as we beat Chelsea there he is front and centre giving it large after the game making sure he was seen. Saying how Dunc wouldnt ask for any money to take over as if he was the mastermind behind it all.

This ^^ If he comes I would fear he would just be coming here for one last big pay day. This is a guy who is used to dining at the very top table in terms of clubs, players and competitions and I'd be wary of him having the fortitude because of it to come in, roll his sleeves up and begin a project from lower mid table with what seems to be limited funds!
