I understand the concerns because of his age, but Carlo is in a totally different league of manager than Pellegrini: he's arguably in the top echelons of the game.
Equally, I understand the principle of having a manager who is part of a long-term project, building the club over the time, however I also see his long-term merits.
As a club, we have been stagnant for far too long and have only came relatively close to any actual success (one final, a few semis etc.) rather than taste it.
If he is able to bring us a trophy, it could be a catalyst for attracting new talent, raise our profile and revitalise the fan base, which in turn will attract a new manager.
We need something to get us going again, and I feel that Carlo could be the man to do that.
