Call it off guys it's not happening. Moshiri probably reached out to Ancelotti and his team but as soon as Bill found out he has released this statement from the club.

On the face of it, that looks like the single most pointless club statement ever made. I read earlier that Carlo hadn’t finalised his golden handshake from Napoli yet so I can only hope we’ve said this as a favour to him, so as not to weaken his negotiating position with them.
