100% mate. This isn't giving a no mark like Allardyce or a Silva 18 months and frustration boiling over. This man is a winner, a proven Silver pot gobbler and we've got to all back him and get right behind the club

This is our chance to wake from a slumber of 30 years and as fans that's what we've been desperate to see.

We can all play our part, get behind the Don and shove all the negativity and pat the head knobheads in the press right back up their own arses.

they know it, we know it, they’re petrified that Arsenal, Utd, Chelsea could be left behind within 3 years

Ive been thinking about this for a while now and I’m still not convinced he is right for us now
Yes he is the most qualified on the “list”
And I would prefer him over Moyes or anyone else on the list
But I still have worries.
Firstly we still need to avoid relegation. Is he the man to do that?
Second we need to rebuild the whole team bar Richarlison, Digne and maybe Pickford. Will he be able to do that?
Will he be given the money he would need?
This is a big project to sort this club out. Does he appreciate the problems or is he here for the money?
Just think it’s a bigger risk with our club if it goes wrong.
If it does go wrong we may never recover.

Hope I am wrong to be concerned
Either way, I'm gonna enjoy the ride and not be bored for once. You should get on the train to. It'll be fun.

We will stay up. Carlo will spend jan and summer sell the crap, and then make us great. The end

i don't think he'd take the job and money unless he was up for the challenge - if he doesn't do it then he'll be sacked. the man clearly has a vision and strategy, and hopefully brands and he can make it happen. i think he has ambition to build us up to his vision, which is a new challenge for him. slight worry, but consider what our trajectory was a couple of weeks ago

It’s crazy to get the best manager when there are average ones crying out for the job.

Hiring Wigan, Southampton and Watford types is more in our line, they know how to work with dog sh*t, which is the number 1 criteria.

Actually a really good article by Martin Samuel there. He’s dropped a few clangers in the past, but he’s spot on here.

That Martin Samuel article is spot on. He couldn’t be more right.

As fans we know as well as anyone that Ancelotti doesn’t guarantee success. But we’ve got a much better chance with him than if we went for one of the usual suspects.

One of the key points is where he says that if Carlo is just in it for the money, that’s a negative on him and not us. Most journos are missing the fact that for Carlo to join us, regardless of money, he had the choice to join us or wait for another job.

He’s committing the next 2-3 years to Everton, by that point he’ll be 63. He’s not doing it for a laugh.
