I noticed with City some ex players want the club to do well, while some resent the new success because it makes their own achievements pale in comparison. I think the ex Everton players that want Moyes are doing the same, it comes across like they want to say I was Everton when they finished 8th, which was a great achievement.

I think everybody in the media has already been briefed on this and it's under embargo until a certain time, the way even the nationals are saying it's done.
