Sadly some folk are either thick as pig muck or they’re that desperate for attention that they chat utter rubbish in the hope that someone notices them.

He has to play the hand that he has been dealt. Obviously over half that team wont be here start of next season.

But a plus was we hung in there , restricted them to a lot less chances than they normally have.
And we managed to make enough chances to even get a point ( 4 free headers from corners)
And lets not forget City are League champs and have a vastly superior squad to ours .
Carlo knows what needs to be done.

losing today is easy to take. Playing the same way against that lot in a few days time will be unacceptable.

The unpopular news is we probably won't get a result in that one either. For me it is the 5 fixtures after the cup game that will tell us more and can Ancelotti pick up the players after a bad result. That mental strength has been a particular weakness for a few years now, when we are on a roll, great, one bad result and like turtles they go into their shells. Hopefully we see the difference.

He knew exactly what we did wrong today. Silva was always mumbling and couldn’t point out the key reasons when asked.

Thought he should have subbed Delph when we got it to 2-1 anyone like Baines or Gordon to inject pace into a pedestrian midfield but the old fox will know our deficiencies after that game - and sign some midfielders as the front two starved the whole game v a defence that was vulnerable.....
