Weak cowards cos they don't want to be booed by thousands of people? Mate you are so out of touch it's a joke.I still play now at 44 and even at base level, negative comments and the like totally diastract you from your game. Why do you think opposition fans jeer other players? They know it gets in their heads but for some reason, thick as f*** blues think it will make them play better. Total Einsteins the lot of ya.

Take it from me, if you want a result from your players booing is the last thing you should do. It is comical that a grown man thinks negative behaviour breeds positive results.

And, Who said anything about clappy?

See, if it were me, and I had thousands of people correctly calling me a coward of a failure, I'd be compelled to go about trying to prove them wrong and it'd actually improve my performance.

But maybe that's just me and the millionaires playing football are so mentally fragile that they'll burst into tears on the pitch and scream for their safe place.

He had to say positive things when he came in and got an immediate reaction.

When we played away from home against anything decent (I include Lpool's youth team) the whole team collapsed mentally and physically. They are all to man way below our/the clubs expectations in mental strength and only Richarlison has the class to be a top 4/6 performer.

Ancelloti will be well aware of these facts much quicker than could have been hoped for he will surely not hesitate to start the overhaul immediately.

Ps. Booing can be very productive. The protests outside finch farm too. It will show the players beyond doubt that they have failed the clubs supporters. We may get a positive reaction from a couple of them - probably for a couple of games but better than nothing.. But have no doubt surely nil tears will be shed if none of the notorious anfield 14 never wear a blue short ever again.

I agree with your take on the tactics.

Another analyst does too:

The catastrophic inability/unwillingness of a team of high-priced, experienced PL players and internationals, to string a pass from line to line through a bunch of kids, is what's angered the whole Blue community. Justly so. I've never been so angry at the side. My TV is lucky it didn't have a brick thrown through it.

If they can't do that, the whole thing should be blown up, which seems to be happening and is for the best. It's been festering for some time. Time to pop the zit.

It's ridiculous that their best play probably was to keep bypassing Schneiderlin and Sigurdsson, lump it long, and hope for the best.

But: if they kept playing Route 1 ball, they probably would have gotten a result.

Good post mate
However, that RoyalBlueMersey article is a pile of steaming dog turd.
The players deserve zero absolution for that horror show.

I think the RoyalBlueMersey piece is spot on.
1) The players produced one of the all time low performances for Everton and that will not be forgotton for many years.
2) Ancelloti's tactics seemed very odd, especially in the second half. But anyone can be forgiven the odd mistake in a new job.

My lad was at the game and he said the same, he also said that Ancelotti was standing there at time just shaking his head like in disbelief.

It might have been Carlo's job to sort out the horror show as it was happening, but I wasn't surprised by his reaction. I've seen us serve up some swill over the years but I was speechles at that 2nd half performance.

Yeh cos money makes you hard

I would dive into The Park End and see how many I can clock before the police dragged me away.
