I never understand why people get so wound up by defensive subs when you´re leading the game 2-0. It´s basic stuff to see a game out. Without a doubt the players are responsible for what happened.

As @bol-uk said - its fine when you can bring Kean and Delph on for Rich & Gomes but bringing on Niasse & Davies instantly puts us under pressure.

Has put us in this position these past 3 games and again its bit us on the ass.

Arsenals squad is horrid, it needs far more of a overhaul than ours

You´d really rather have our squad over Arsenal´s? They´ve got some genuine quality in there that we are desperately lacking. If we finish above them next season, I´d be very surprised.

You´d really rather have our squad over Arsenal´s? They´ve got some genuine quality in there that we are desperately lacking. If we finish above them next season, I´d be very surprised.

Spineless? They absolutely dominated for 70 minutes!! He takes off the better players and changes the winning formation, next thing you know we are under pressure, same as west ham and brighton. He is not immune to criticism mate. He had us playing the best football in ages untill he did his usual defensive subs on 70 minutes routine. When we have a full squad of better players it wont matter but when we have this squad and these injuries it is daft.

He did his defensive subs before and it worked out.

They're only defensive anyway because the subs coming on are not capapble of slotting in and getting on the ball and keeping the pressure on opponents.

It;s a player thing, not a manager thing...OF COURSE.

Apart from the fact that it has cost us our last 2 games and nearly against Brighton you mean? We were DOMINANT until the subs but yeh, change the formation and bring niasse on and put davies on the left.......

you should expect a professional footballer to come on for 15 minutes and do very basic things to see a game out. We weren’t chasing anything, it needed nothing fancy or special.

it was utter shambles from 2 players, let’s see if it happens again anytime soon. I don’t think Davies will ever be trusted to replace Bernard

Its 70-30 blame for me.

The players do take most of the blame but for me Carlo is smart enough to know Oumar Niasse and Tom Davies should not be anywhere near the pitch especially together.

The players are a disgrace but for me Ancelotti needs to use his common sense and quit the daft subs until he has a few back from injury where we have options to come off the bench.
