No, the good thing Anchelotti has done is scrap the little winter sun break in Dubai and said Finch farm is one of the best training grounds so why go somewhere else plus we don't need the unnecessary travel

That training in the sun was a load of crap, an excuse for a little jolly at the club's expense, imagine being in Dubai for 5 days then coming back to ice cold England in February and expecting these players to be up for a game of footy, no chance, should send them to outer Mongolia if anything, maybe leave a few there

Made up that got knocked on the head. Allardyce and his mates lapping it up in the winter sun irked me to unreasonable levels. Failure should never be rewarded with a jolly.

One thing for sure, if CA is going to turn this around he is going to do something he rarely, if at all, has ever done in his managerial career! He usually buys perfect multi million dollar mansions that barely need a tweak or two but now has bought a historic home with a romantic past that needs everything inside to be torn down and rebuilt from the studs up. Does he have the energy and ambition to do this? I for one can't wait to find out!

Hoo-flipping-ray.

I am so glad to hear that.

It has been irking me thus past three or four years....season over in early January and the buggers are rewarded with a jolly when the fans have nowt to look forward to on a Cup weekend.

At least clubs that may be interested now know that Niasse is fit enough to play football... if he is actually able to play is a different question.
His recent cameo appearances just may help in getting him out the gap before the window closes.

The sad thing is, your attitude would slot in nicely across large swathes of Goodison.

I am convinced we need to be more positive as a fanbase, without losing a sense of realism.
Be positive about people in the club who are worth it, basically Ancelotti at the top of the club; the rest have well deserved the negativity around them....and they cant be helped with any positive thoughts. Moshiri is always going to be a self-serving, back seat driving nuisance; Kenwright is Kenwright, enough said; DBB is a dead loss; Brands has proven almost beyond doubt he's a stooge for Moshiri and hasn't got the touch in the transfer market (incoming and outgoing) to be worthwhile for the club to continue employing; and the players, barring one or two, are a CONSTANT disgrace to the shirt.

Ancelotti has the biggest challenge of his career here at this club.

This again, every six months :

just reading some of those quotes from Martinez shows how he couldn't tell a good player if it bit him on the arse...

“He can open space and has a real intelligent way of combining for others. He can fit in different formations – on his own, with another, out wide. He’s flexible and at 25 it’s the perfect moment for coming to the Premier League.

25 who’s been successful in two European leagues [Turkey and Russia]

I see where you are coming from but I feel like if we can focus on the positives and contribute as fans to an optimistic feeling around the club, it might help matters on the pitch and help attract players.
