The man has got us still in the mix for Europe with 9 games of the season left, literally one win in it and the usual suspects want him gone. You can’t make this up

He really hasn't though. I love Ancelloti, but we have been crap, it's a farse. The table isn't a reflection of where we're and how we're performing as a team and a unit. We're are 8th by default and will finish 8th to 12th.

We can smell fourth but we've been that close for weeks on end and continue to lose and drop points against utter garbage. How many times can you keep dropping points and say, but we're only 3 or four points off with our game in hand?. It doesn't matter when we consistently turn in performances like that.

It was only tired. A long time he was not playing, he scored a goal, played a fantastic match. He didn't have a lot of energy so to avoid a problem I took him out.

He has better players. He was able to just freeze out Anderson Yarmolenko Lanzini Haller Diop like it was nothing, over 100 million of talent. Then he could call on Bowen Antonio Fornals Rice Soucek and was able to bring in Lingard. Pace power and aggression all over the pitch. Carlo has to make do with the utter dregs still not only in the squad but also the first team.

We really cannot be looking in envy at Jarrod Bowen and Pablo Fornals.

And the reason Soucek is as good as he is comes down to Moyes having a clear idea of what he needed from that role. Carlo isn't really doing this.

Discuss, Moyes' west ham have played miles better football than us this season.

The ONE thing I'll say in Carlo's favour is that the squad he has is absolute dog turd, but we have wasted a great opportunity for champions league this season. Some of that blame is with the players, but a significant portion is down to carlo too. Some of his subs and line ups have been either baffling or just too negative and defensive. I'd still give him next season to show he's still the man for the job, but some of his more loyal defenders have to admit that a lot of our football has been truly awful to watch, including our wins. They also have to admit that if it was any other manager they'd be screaming 'not good enough'. Our home form and some of our stats are absolutely woeful.

I can't understand selection at times. Today, no Godfrey, best player I think. If he was injured why on the bench. People saying king not upto it. ... not had a chance, even when dcl was out. Every game, we take the lead then defend. Granted our finishing was awful today

Of course they don’t. If say Brighton were over achieving they’d be saying “Potter has Brighton in x position why can’t we be like them?” they’re not bothered. They’re not Evertonians at all they’re just whingers. I’d say I’m embarrassed to support the same club as them but there’s nothing to be embarrassed about, they don’t support Everton in the slightest.

I don’t understand why some of the fans are like demanding instant results. We have so many average players and need binning. We need stability and are not far away from making Euro.
