Just play players in their correct positions. Gomes shouldn't be starting in that position ahead of Gordon, Bernard or Iwobi.

Maybe he could have made different decisions and got a different result for Newcastle & Southampton but can't really be calling him out when the players he can choose from who are actually premiership level is so limited at the moment

So what you mean is that Koeman / Silva were really good coaches, but had bad players at their disposal? 0 points out of 6 possible against Southampton and Newcastle is a disaster. Even though we lack players, as Newcastle did, this was not exactly a star team.

Lose 2 games and everyones head falls off. Southampton played us off the park (this happens to every team from time to time), this game was just us against steve bruces park the bus tactics which the players we have on the pitch dont have the skillset to breakdown not that they havent tried too either. Im not worried atall cause its a 38 game season and we will come good this year.

What makes you think we will come good? We are a cr*p team. We have no creativity in the centre of the park. We play sluggishly slow football. We got the results at the start of the season without playing great football. That soon catches up with you and evens out. Mid table at best this season again folks. We have so much rotten deadwood to replace its not funny.

Newcastle will be bottom 8 this year. Are we any better than them?
