After 17 months that's not what we should be asking for.

I mean I agree with you, but we should be seeing some gumption in our attacking play. We have none.

And our defence isn't great at all. It's just better when it's sat deep. But that makes our attack even more blunt (in terms of how we form moves and create chances). It's all very frustrating. We'd got ourselves in a great position and now face having to probably take nine points from nine to have a chance of Europa League, and at least six to have a chance of the Farmers League.

We had the clearer chances, apart from minges header, they never tested Pickford. Their keeper pulled off 2/3 great saves. 2 great challenges/blocks from their defence. Overall we were the better side. We just needed a slice of luck in front of goal which just didn’t come.

Reality check.
Look at the quality of squad when CA took over.

He added James, Allen and Doucoure. Nothing too much wrong there.
Then he added Godfrey. Not bad either.

We obvs still have a big problem in that we have too much rubbish in the squad.
You can't ship them all out in one go. Nobody wants them.

We've flirted with Europe with complete garbage ffs.
The better signings have been out injured half the time.

Silk purses and all that. Of course we are turd to watch.

That sheff United game will be one for the purists lol the two most flaccid sides in the league.

I’d be astonished if we picked up more than 3 points from those two games.
