Koeman ruined us, Allardyce was awful and Silva might have been good but had some shockingly bad luck. We've had 4 managers in five years. The players we have are mostly not Ancelotti's choice. It is going to take more than one season to fix the mess. There have been improvements, we are/were challenging for Europe. We have a manager who is a class act. Give him time. It's taken Guardiola 5 years to get to a Champions league final - and look what he has got at his disposal.
He must look at our club and think how in the name of God did I end up here?

We aren't though. We're exactly where this side belongs. Comfortably in mid-table, miles away from relegation but nowhere near good enough to deserve European football. Its the same position we've been in for years and years now. Its garbage I agree but its not any worse then what its been in recent years, its just more of the same old crap.

We're in the mix with top 8. Not a million miles off those ahead. With this squad. I dont need telling. Ive been watching most of them the last few years. Majority are not good enough to be any higher.

We have very, very few players of real genuine quality. I would not dispute that and I actively despise most of our players.
However, this was an absolutely must win game for us. We didn't try and leg for 80 minutes, kept a back five for the entirety of the match and made the goalkeeper seriously work once in the entire game which took until the 88th minute or so.
Mason Holgate gifted this side a win against us two weeks ago. Why is questioning why he was playing wrong and asking why Tom Davies wasn't playing despite doing very well against West Ham is a laughable idea?
