Cant keep blaming the players - would you go to work putting in maximum effort if every manager you worked under was throwing you under the bus / not adequately training you? I know I wouldn't.

Most of these players have only been around since Brands/Silva only about 4 were here when Koeman was around its a complete myth that they have seen off tons of managers.

If he keeps blaming the players they'll see him off.

You can blame the players and we have rightly done so. However Carlo and the coaching team are as much to blame. Despite significant investment, we have have no clear identity as how we play, the football has been largely poor all season. A big rethink needed in the off season as regards to recruitment and how we are going to move forwards with regard to how we play. This season has been totally unacceptable.

We play counter attacking football because we have a midfield with no pace and unable to beat a man.

Im not angry. You can check my posts over a long period of time and see that I stopped taking Everton seriously ages ago.

I’ve clearly got a much more objective view than you. I’m talking about the big picture over the period of years. You’re obsessing about points tally’s which are ultimately meaningless. The points swings are small and Everton are still crap in the league and uncompetitive in the cups.

We have a style of play that maximises the strengths of the squad and mitigates the weaknesses. Whether you like that style or not, is irrelevant.

With the addition of better attacking players we can change the style of play. If we had "something in place" by which you use as a euphemism for "entertaining to watch" then we could well have been relegated this season.

You can, but there are also many other indicators you can use. The problem with this season is that it is not often that football is played in the middle of a pandemic. I'm pretty sure that the top 4 teams have taken less points than usual, and therefore the distribution will be different.

Several have said so, but then suddenly statistics are no longer valid (apart from points), that for a period we performed far above expectations, and that we would eventually get less points. Guess what?

I wouldnt bother - the Carlo Camp have their stall set out and nothing will convince them until 2nd season syndrome of crap comes in.

Was the exact same under Silva if you recall the dogs abuse I and a few others got for calling Silva's management for what it was in that 1st season to be told "bad bloo u lad transition season init give em time to sort out the squad"
