A Burnley side who have conceded less goals than us this season, due to their 2 banks of 4, home or away.

The only game they have struggled in in the last 7 games was city away. Our game came in the middle of that so its pretty clear they are picking up after a poor start.
Its like when we played southampton and i read in the match day thread we should be beating the likes of southampton with ease. Pure ignorance.
Its no wonder we get calls for ancellotis head when so many of our fans live in fantasy land that we should be battering teams away from home. There are very few givens.

And I would agree with this sentiment however they outplayed us that day and deserved the 3 points so I have no qualms about that, Burnley however are one of the most basic teams in the league everyone knows what you get with Burnley, There is no sure wins in this league but we can't be putting a positive spin on drawing with Burnley with a near full strength team out.

They had 8 shots. We had 12. With twice as many shots on target as them.
Can argue about this all day. Its a tough place to go. I cant stand the we should be beating these with ease attitude. It very rarely works like that for most sides unless the last few years man city or dare i say it them over the park.

Burnley didn't outplay us at all mate. Our Xg was like 3 times what theirs was. We controlled most of the game, but didn;t finish our chances. We gave them a stupid early goal and probably did well to claw a point back.

They are 12 from the last 6 since Tarkowski returns. Burnley away is never an easy game, and in the run they are on, it was a decent point. Not outstanding but decent.

Yeah, it may have looked bad at the time, but they seem to be marching away from the relegation zone towards midtable.

If you take four from six from a team like that, you're taking care of business. That's not good enough to win the league, but if you make up the points you leak to the mid-table and above against the truly poor teams, you end up in the right European competition.

If you look back, the only really bad results are not getting a point off of Newcastle away and losing at home to Leeds. Dr. Jekyll showed up for United, and that's proven a difficult ask even for great teams. Hopefully we get Mr. Hyde the next two times.
 
Think I have walked into a Burnley thread.

Carlo had a wobble as we know but he's steadied it and got us moving in the right direction which is the very hardest thing to do, ask Arteta.
