Just hoping we can shift the likes of Tosun our this window so we can reinvest the money and try and get a player in who can push us on.
Loser generation this fella.I just hope he isn’t loyal to Coleman. The lad has had his day now.
Well the players they were missing were their Digne,Allan and James. And obviously we will lose, but it's the way we do it,too often with a whimper rather than a bang.Re Sheffield United, were they missing a Digne, Allan, James etc. I don't think so. We were the ones missing the key players.
As for the run, of course every run will eventually see a defeat. That happens. You're not going to win forever.
He is but at the same time they were let down by the Board through no investment in the team.Loser generation this fella.
January is the worst transfer window to have tho, everything's overpriced and you can mostly get only the players other teams don't need anymore, ie. the kind of players we're trying to offload. If you told me that we'd be in the top 4 at Christmas with injuries to four/five of our best players, I'd have told you that you're a loon.
He has done a fantastic job thus far, I'm not sure that we're in a financial situation to invest this January - but I feel like we have enough to have a real go at top 4.

Their players were nowhere near that level mate. Nowhere near. It was a great win with a patched up squad.
And yes on the latter. I'll be frank a defeat is a defeat to me. I just want to win more than we lose, not really bothered how that's done.
Didn't suggest they were at the level of Digne etc. But just that they were comparable in importance to them as the three we had missing are to us. We'll have to agree to disagree on defeats. One day I'll sit down and work out how many we've lost since my first visit to the Old Lady. Hate them all but it's those when we don't put in the effort I can't stomach. And I count last night as one of those.Their players were nowhere near that level mate. Nowhere near. It was a great win with a patched up squad.

Completely agree.
Dying out for another pacey player and an Isco creative type.
We can’t break teams down.

It happens - the shower drew with West Brom and Newcastle in the last two games.
The hyper reactive nature of this forum is outrageous.
It makes all the difference the quality you are missing. We had far more quality missing than Sheffield United. Pretty much their strongest teams. If Lundstrom plays, we still beat them.
Whenever we lose it's bad. But it happens. We are losing a lot less now, which us good.
I get the feeling that if we’d drawn against Leicester and Arsenal but beaten West Ham everyone would have been quite happy with the 5 match unbeaten run and praising Carlo for how well he’d managed the Christmas period even though we’d have less points than we have now. Draws have killed us in the past and one of the positives for me this season so far is that when we’ve been on streaks of good form we’ve won not drawn. Therefore I can accept a loss when we’re not playing well. It would be great to turn the losses into draws (which we should have against West Ham and probably Newcastle too) but there’s been some seasons where we’ve been far too happy just playing for a draw every single away game. That’s not happening now. Yes the defeats sting but moving away from this mentality of a draw being a good result is a good stepping stone for this squad in my opinion. Draws kill seasons. You only have to look across the park at pundits going on about Liverpool only losing one game. They’ve drawn 6 games. That’s 12 points dropped. It’s the same as losing 4 times but for some reason fans seem to not mind the draws as much.
How disrespectful to a good servant!Loser generation this fella.
I've been a good Evertonian for 35 years mate, big woop. He's lifted diddly squat and we've had put up with his faux passion and the re-run interviews he gives. Had his day now he should move to Dungaggon swifts to finish his career. How disrespectful to a good servant!
