It’s quite mad how a large portion of the real disappointing matches come at Goodison, the place you’d expect us to turn up at.

West Ham stopping us going second yesterday.

An awful Crystal Palace side ending our run late in the season when fourth was looking pretty much ours in Martinez’s first season.

Numerous cup exits: Fiorentina, Man Utd, Leicester, Wigan, Reading and Chelsea stick out.

The mentality of this club is just awful. On the flip side to us, Liverpool use Anfield to their advantage.
What’s your plan then going forward?

Moyes lucked out on Cahill and Bent.

He found a formation that accompany defensive football with clinical set pieces and counter attacking elements.

What he did have which Carlo doesn't is leadership and character in every position.

Martyn - Weir - Carsley/Gravesen - Ferguson
These won us games through game management.

We have no leaders and no general for over a decade. We wet the bed against bigger teams for 10 years and that need addressing as much as signing a fast player or South American wonderkid.

Prime example is Milan at this very moment, bring in Zlatan, a pure never say die winner, that team pushes it chest out and starts getting points it's draws or loses.

We need character and I pray Carlo finds some soon.
Moyes “lucked out” a lot on transfers! Either he had the luck of Rumplestiltskin or he has a good eye for a player. Bowen, Soucek and Coufal are all old school cheap but effective Moyes signings.

I've been a good Evertonian for 35 years mate, big woop. He's lifted diddly squat and we've had put up with his faux passion and the re-run interviews he gives. Had his day now he should move to Dungaggon swifts to finish his career.
That is totally out of order .I could go on but they would ban me .To show disrespect for Seamus Coleman simply shows who you are .Is he as good as he was NO but that doesn't matter in this regard .

to carry on moaning
I don’t understand these people maybe they want Silva back and sitting in 16th means they are entertained. We have a world class manager he may make some mistake in the course of the season but he is the best candidate who will take this club forward. People need to give the king time the team are 5th at the moment.

Mate but look at the teams we have beaten so far. We have quite a lot of injured starting players and some back-up who ain’t good enough. Keep the faith surely the club will continue to build a better squad.

It's a harsh truth though isn't it, Coleman and his boring interviews are getting too much, he's stealing a living at Everton now and has been for years. Loved Coleman down the years but as it stands now he's getting paid ridiculous wages and contributing zero.

I hope that some of you lads understand that if we want to see Everton between first six in the next 2-4 seasons which I honestly don’t believe it will happen before we will probably have to substitute almost 75% of current players , Carlo knows that very well this is why he was probably insisting on long turn contract . In the past we were forced to bring average players in the last minutes of the transfer window , players from the middle of the table or bottom of the table, players that were probably the best in their teams but players that have no experience of winning trophies or matches after matches, players without winning mentally and character that will win the close games . With those kind of characteristic you can expect to reach that much , slowly but surely one by one will be eliminated, I don’t have to named them , we all know who their are and what they are capable of achieving.
last summer was is a first transfer window that we were able to signed proper player with winning DNA , Allan and James , as much we didn’t get from James enough as we thought every minutes that he played he showed everything what I wrote above , Allan is absolutely amazing , with two lads the rest of the team looks 100% better but in case like now when we don’t have them available it’s easy to notice how quality of the lads like Davies , Sigy, Richi even Douc , no one of them can create of produce anything decent and as a result we have our best striker left without opportunities , with this team if we reach 8th spot I would be happy , hopefully we will intrigued for next season at least three more top players but before of that we have to seek it first those lads and the only way to sell it is if they play unfortunately
this is why Carlo is here

mate honestly some fans don’t deserve him seriously.

Hopefully he knows what he's doing by bringing in Khedira. Would be frustrating if he's just handing out a job to his finished mate

What makes me chuckle on here at times is you'll read the general consensus is how average the squad is. Nearly all are agreed on that. So to be sitting 4pts off the top of the table is getting blood out of a stone. When thats pointed out you'll get..yeah but erm..i dont like the style of football. We're not dominating teams...
Dont want much some do they.

Reading some of these posts, I now understand why Shankly went ballistic with a reporter when told "some fans" wanted him to do things differently.

I am not concerned by that. No point of tippy tappy....as long as we get results.

Carlo: "Sami, I know you're finished. So am I. Fancy a final pay day, Italiano style?"
Sami: "Oh, Cheers, Carlo. But as I am an overpriced crock, what's in it for you?"
Carlo: "Belissimo. In it for me me? I am in this game for others, Sami. And Everton is a charity."
Sami: "Ah, I see. Ich verstehe. That's why they call it "Everton in the Community."
Carlo: "Yes, and they've just left the Community, Sami. Sovereignty, you see."
Sami: "Will I need a visa?"
Carlo: "All you need is a date of birth from the 1980s and a certificate of invalidity. Everton will do the rest."

Yes, that's pretty plausible.

What does concern me this season is our home form. 3 losses already at Goodison, along with a home cup defeat, doesn’t bode well for the season.
