Why didn’t we just go for him in the summer instead of the injured Brojawe are the weirdest.
You can only assume that Dyche didn't fancy him.

Who?You can only assume that Dyche didn't fancy him.
Because we were looking for a striker and he's not one? It's not the club who are the weirdest. Why didn’t we just go for him in the summer instead of the injured Brojawe are the weirdest.

….maybe it’s because Moyes wasn’t in charge of transfers then.
Seriously, this Thelwell thing is turning into an obsession.
….didn’t mention the fella. It’s surely feasible that he’s only on our radar now because Moyes likes him
Weird how you can post 20 times a day hurling abuse in the Dyche thread without a passing glance but dare to have a long-held view of our DOF that is contrary to the majority and it’s seen as an ‘obsession’. In the main, I’m very critical of our transfer dealings and will continue to say so![]()
What’s weird is someone only hurling abuse at Dyche 20 times a day. That football parasite got off lightly it sounds….didn’t mention the fella. It’s surely feasible that he’s only on our radar now because Moyes likes him

You have written 3 footballing posts this morning by 9am and 2 of them are indirect digs at Thelwell.
Again, has he stolen your bin? Assume he, like everyone at the club, lives round the corner from you.
P.S. haven’t posted about Dyche since Tuesday.

The change in formation (if we stick with 352 or variations there of) and tactics/expectations of a players role on the pitch will also change the profile of the players that we're looking into.It does seem that our targets have changed since Moyes arrived.
I’d wager he’s looked at the midfield options and seen the lack of pace hence the links to the lad from Sunderland and this lad (both out the Moyes scouting playbook e.g championship player and unwanted at top PL club)
Nuamah or Gnonto just dont seem like Moyes players to me but we’ll see what happens.
Yes and kept us up twice with this threadbare and very poor squad, I hope the new manager does the same.Dyche wasnt a fan of footballers.
He made footballers into plumbers, joiners and postmen
Yet it took that new manager just 2 games to show how limited Sean Dyches skillset actually is, and with that same squad.Yes and kept us up twice with this threadbare and very poor squad, I hope the new manager does the same.
Pace in midfield is something we sorely lack. It’s been painful watching us ‘break forward’ recently. Having someone who can actually pass or carry the ball forward through midfield with pace would be a massive addition to the squad. We have bursts of pace from certain players, Ndaiye and Lindstrom are fairly quick but on the wing…every time we try and run though the middle it genuinely looks like our guys are running through treacle. It limits our capacity in attack so much. We were a counter team with no speed - no wonder it didn’t work!!!It does seem that our targets have changed since Moyes arrived.
