Well the first game was a loss we never looked like winning and the second was a deserved win against an injury ravaged Spurs team that had us rattled in those very nervous last few minutes!
Stop with the injury ravaged bs as their team was still worth far more than what ours was, let alone before we start talking about the wages their players are on. Injuries didn't stop Bournemouth smashing Newcastle off the pitch in the same weekend and their entire bench was youth team players. Dyche would never in a million years have produced a result like that, he had been trying all season and in one game we then score 3 goals, not just that it was the link up, we passed the ball around, Sean just doesn't know how to setup teams like this. I get why some of our fanbase like him, really I do but you need a lot more than what he offers in modern day football management and especially when you are on the wages he was on regardless of limited squad options.

He was capible of getting a result in games like these though, Arsenal 1-0, Chelsea 2-0, Liverpool 2-0

All before this season though were he threw his toys out the pram and doubled down on #Dychian tactics and team selections.

Hated the guy more than most, but he was capable of getting a good result every now and then.

I feel under Moyes though we will be more consistent in terms of getting points over the course of a whole season and not just small blocks of games

He has been trying and failing all season to get the team to score goals, also it wasn't just the goals it was the performance in that first half, it was night and day compared to what we have seen under him but with the same players. Dyche simply just does the basic ABC's of football (no issue with that) but we saw potentially what happens when you have a manager that can go to the DEF's and so on with football management even though its the same group of players imo.

No it was a fact that Spurs had twelve first team players out injured with no recognised centre backs fit, Solanke and Johnson missing, their team was still worth more than ours was, most teams are all that proves is we are a threadbare bare and mostly talentless squad and yet Dyche kept us up twice with that squad the Newcastle v Bournemouth game had absolutely nothing to do with the Everton v Spurs game. Dyche would never in a million years have produced a result like that ——really? Brighton getting mauled 5-1 away was less than two years ago and the Wolves 4-0 win was less less than two months ago although the pathetic Wolves defence had a lot to do with that result. I hope Moyes produces something like the best performance and result we have had in a long time when Dyches’ team hammered and bullied Liverpool in a great 2-0 win near the end of last season. I think his Everton teams won four games in twelve bleedin’ years against Liverpool!

Wow this is an epic, EPIC Sean Dyche cry in the Carney Chukwuemeka thread. The man won 8 football matches in a calendar year and has still got sycophants on here frothing at the mouth and making excuses for his successor winning football matches that he never would’ve won. Some Jedi mind tricks he has pulled on our fanbase, it’s Benitez-esque cult like behaviour.

The squad is not as poor as our previous manager made them look to be, an average manager like Moyes will prove what an absolute gash manager Sean Dyche is.
An inexperienced and gash Lampard kept us up
Yes Lampard was truly a very poor manager and after helping to keep us up he was on his way to getting us relegated when Dyche took over and helped to save our season. In both those seasons the real saviours of our club were us the fans. Dyche then helped to save us last season after an eight points deduction, the board throwing their hand in leaving Thelwell and Dyche to run the club on their own but again with the massive help from the fan base.He had given up on this season and left but he still gets my thanks for those two seasons when we stayed up.

No sycophants here or frothing at the mouth Mike just telling it like it was, we never looked like beating Villa and you saw the Spurs game which we deserved to win but you can’t deny we were hanging on in those last few minutes against a team that were well depleted in first team members. Have a look at my reply to another poster about Dyche this season, yes it was time for him to go but he definitely deserves thanks for those two seasons he helped us to avoid relegation.

He did his job, Lampard did the same. His thanks is the fee we had to pay to get rid.

The new owners didn’t want to get rid, they were happy to keep him on but he forced their hand and got less than he would have, mind you he didn’t have to work for what he got, which might be a blessing in the long run!

But Villa were hanging on at the end against us and if we’d played an arbitrary fictional amount of extra time against them we also could’ve got something?

Fair enough, you see both sides of the coin.

Yes wouldn’t look too much into that spurs game it was a poor spurs squad. And while DCL scored a good goal he also showed what we’ve all seen for years. Then we got to see how thin the squad is with the poor subs that come on wouldn’t be surprised if normal service resumed this weekend. And as bad as Dyche was he can’t be held accountable for how bad some of the players are in possession and their control of the ball or lack of, let’s have it right it’s no surprise to see this squad at the bottom of the table. We NEED players in
