Welp. Had my engagement party on the weekend. It was blessed by my best friend (family man of 3 kids) cheating with my fiancees best friend. Caught by my fiancé best friends boy friend out the back.(sound lad and I feel terrible)

As he was having a smoke out the back garden he couldn't help but notice as he looked up into the top window his girl friend pulling my mate off. As they thought the vanishing blinds where pulled all the way..

Ye can't even trust them in a separate room never mind if they are on a night out with the girls/lads.

....struggled to work out who was cheating on who, lost it a bit on ‘my best friends friends fiancé of my girlfriends best mate’. Regardless, dreadful state of affairs if they at least couldn’t arrange to do their dirty dealings under the noses of so many.

Personally I’d have too much to lose if I‘d got involved in affairs. Life’s complicated enough. I saw it plenty in the Civil Service, staff saying ‘love you’ to their other half on the phone whilst seeing somebody in the office. Sad where kids are involved, but its best to find out before you get too deep in a relationship.

Anyway, @Death i hope you have a long and happy partnership of your own.

Yeah I was confused writing it tbf. Basically me best mate got pulled off by my birds best mate in full view of her boyfriend of 3 years.

Yeah the work place tends to be that big culprit. Spend more time in close proximity to these people you see and talk to them more than your family. Almost an inevitability about it. Then you have "the ladder" easy to suck your way up than climb.
 
Know a guy who, reluctantly, started attending swingers parties. His wife used the "if you love me, you'd do it for me" line.

Anyway, she apparently laps this stuff up and sampled a lot of fruit. But over time seems to take a shine to one fella in particular.

You can guess where this is going can't you? That's right, favourite swinging buddy becomes regular bit on side buddy. Then moves in, banishing my friend to the sofa until he found a new place.

Imagine that. Listening to your missus being smashed nightly and explaining to your kids why you are on the sofa and ma is making goat noises. Again.

When asked why he put up with it, he said he didn't want to make it weird or upset the kids.

Bit late for that lol
