Was a long time coming, the job was too big for him. He struck me as a guy who wouldnt say boo to a mouse! Couldnt control a team. When we went 2 down last night he sat in the dug out and didnt move :huh:
Ive sat through 5-1,4-2,4-0,2-0 and cup final losses to rangers but last night was the one that left me most numb, one of those ones where you stand in the ground another 10 minutes after everyone was gone thinking "what the ****?"
Yep, were a joke club now......there I said it, but the EPL would be a gateway for us to become massive! Blowing my own horn here but aye, Celtic in the EPL would see us become one of the biggest clubs in the world purely through the revenue that we would gain via T.V moneys/Sponsorship/Prize money. Right now the SPL winners get only £1mil! We are taking in £1.5 mil a year sponsorship from carling. **** me! Clubs like Man U/Chelsea make that in a good month.
There is no attraction for players to come to us anymore, Under Martin O'Neill we were a club that big players wanted to play for, now we have guys like Simon Cox knocking us back for WBA.

I wish, maybe a few years ago he would have walked to parkhead but he would be mental to leave that everton team he has now, the team who I.M.O are the best footballing side in the EPL.
Neil Lennon cartaker now, hopefully he does well and secures the job because he is a icon at celtic and a real celtic man........although early contenders for the job that are being touted are along the lines of Mark Hughes

Celtic has always been the team I root for in Scotland. But did they take a tumbling in recent years.

About 4/5 years ago R*ngers were in the same position we were in, losing to diddy teams as we were strolling the league....
.....then, we had a chance to invest, build a team to spank them for years to come! But the money men were just happy to match them in terms of what they were spending and the quality they were bringing in.......slowly but surely they crept back up on us and by **** we are in a state now. Breaks my ******* heart man, breaks my ******* heart!!!!
But you have to take the rough with the smooth, alot of people on celtic forums shouting "im not going back, were [Poor language removed], i give up" GOOD ******* RIDANCE, SCARF THROWING SCUM! Weed out the big game charlies and get the real fans going to games.
I dont know if you stand by this statement from an everton perspective, but im sure you would rather see an empty goodison park with only 17-20,000 real passionate fans every home game getting right behind the team rather than a full capacity snore-fest where you get moaned at for standing up to get a better view of a corner!
In all honesty, we have never been the same since we lost this......

As far as I can tell, Mowbray got load of a load of decent players who got the job done, and brought in a load of championship players who would adhere to his style of playing.
