The man in the picture of your last post, greentoffee, is probably the man celtic could do with now as manager. I know it would be his first job, but what have celtic got to lose now, it cant get any worse so larrsson would be in a win-win situation. If he fails people would say he had to sort out the mess that mowbray left. If he succeeds he becomes an even bigger legend than he already is, if thats possible.

His reputation throughout europe would help attract players and im sure he could put together a good coaching team with the contacts he has from playing in scotland, holland, england and spain.

I see the point mate, it would be a big big risk, possibly the reasons for the board to bring him in would be to sell tickets and not team related.....thats how we are treated!

Hes in Scotland now doing his badges, eventually yes.....he is destined to be at celtic but at the risk of ruining his legacy......i'd leave it the now!

One loss and they sack the manager? Stupid really, they're still up there in the league!

It wasnt one loss bud, heartless performences all season, ploughed in £15+ mil with no return........10 points behing the monkeys having played 2 more games which will amount to 16!!!!! Worst in 30 odd years

Its really sad tbh, Mowbray is the kinda guy I really wanted to do well.

I'm a left-footer , meself - but can't have the love-in with the Kopites . Battle of Parkhead , anyone ??? - , but Mowbray wasn't up to it . Had ben found wanting defensively with W Brom , did the same here . Nice fella , but time to move away from Celtic Family . Leveine was your man .

Shame that Celtic have slid so far off the pace, they're the team I typically support up in Scotland, although the rise in Everton's fortunes has diminished my need to support a second "escapist" club like Celtic!

How is Robbie Keane getting on up there? I really don't rate Robbie (and I'm Irish ) but I wondered how he'd get on against the weaker opposition up in Scotland. Haven't actually watched any games though.

i think it's time for mcghee to take the job he always wanted.

he seems 'celtic minded'.

I don't think it was that much of a shock, or nothing exceptional anyway.

Kilmarmock won 3-0 at Ibrox a few years back, and of course there was the Inverness Caledonian Thistle beating of Celtic in the scottish cup that time, these things do happen.

Rangers can't be stopped for the league title, with all respect to those involved up there it's all a bit of a farce.

No team since 1985 other than the old firm has been Scottish champions.

I ask you. :dodgy:

McGhee can go and take his face for a [Poor language removed], he is struggling big time at aberdeen and he is coming out in the press saying he isnt attracted to the celtic job as there will be no champions league football.

Cheeky f**king no-body jobsworth caaant!

Mark Hughes on the back of every scottish rag today tiping him for the job , roy keane is a bog standard manager IMO.....wouldnt touch him.

I'd give lennon the job, have him for the rest of the season, he is someone who wants to do well, someone the players want to play for, someone the fans want to support!!!

If he gives the darkside a doing in the last derby and wins the scottish cup then he is a cert for it..............Paul Lambert also being touted.

TBH, i hope villa get a few more chelsea'esqe doing and MO'Neill gets the punt :lol:b)

I reckon he's the man for the job. A million times 'bigger' than Citeh even if they ain't got their money, Celtic could do a lot worse!

Their season reached a new low with a 2-0 loss to the mighty Ross County

Dear me. I watched the second half of that today. Lennon will be heading down the Job Centre because of that performance. Ross County, full of ex-Celtic apprentices, played them off the park.
