Agree mate. Everyone moaning last week that signing Walcott would mean the end of Lookman, i think it's more likely he'll replace Yannick who had a stinker Saturday. I love seeing Rooney back and scoring goals but if he's playing poor just like anyone else he should be dropped and we've seen Gylfi can have a bigger impact in the middle.
I agree, the "new player" shine will wear off if Bolasie continues to produce nothing, and Lookman is more likely to replace him. Tosun showed hes in another class from our current strikers last match, and I think the speed of Walcott will open up things a little more for him. At the very least 3 of the front 4, Siggurdson, Tosun, and Walcott look good on paper, just need a 4th to step up.

..he did win his fair share of headers which is why whoever plays no10 has to regularly get beyond him. When Sigurdsson plays centrally he does get beyond the CF.

Rooney did that on one occassion at Spurs game. GK kicked long ball, Cenk lobbed with his heel to Rooney running behind the defense. Unfortunately defense kept close and Rooney sent the shot a bit wide but it was nice to see that some of those long balls ended up with something.

..Sigurdsson always does it. He must do some mileage. 9 time’s out of 10, nothing happens but it’s amazing how often he ends up around the penalty spot. If we can play further up the pitch, Sigurdsson will be a real threat.

Makes it all the more frustrating to see him playing bloody left back against Spurs eggs. I'd have thought Allardyce would have taken from the rs defeat how much more cohesive we were as a unit that 2nd half when Lookman and Bolasie stretched them and Gylfi found himself in the right place at the right time to slot the equaliser. Last kick of the game Bolasie should have laid one off to him again

Just put your self in Sigs shoes this season trying to set up DCL all season it must be so demoralising, do all the hard work and DCL pea rollers it to there keeper. Now judging by a few moments I saw of Tosun in the Spurs game, Sigs work may produce so end product.

You need to change the game plan but it seems not possible as Big Sam has a certain game plan that he never changes.. Tosun should get used to be alone and I am sure he will stand out even though he doesn't have enough support from the midfielders.

Do you not think with Walcott he will have someone higher up. We have to use players to their strengths

The thing is, you were praying that he won't turn out to be a total crap. You've seen he is not. But now, you're asking if he is the next Lukaku. No. He will score goals for you, but he won't be banging in every possible ball, you won't sell him £100M, he is not that superstar.

Only 60 minutes or so but already a clear upgrade on DCL.

Was actually surprised how good he looked, especially with never playing in this league before.
against a decent team too. Against lesser teams we will have more of the ball and his better-attacking threat will keep the opposition more occupied that will help the whole of our team be under a little less pressure.
