He's played 120 minutes and suddenly he's not good enough because he can't handle having it mindlessly hoofed in his general direction or put into space so he can chase shadows? The poor fella's come from Besiktas, a side that actually plays football, to this utter mess.

Something tells me Fat Sam is completely wrong on this one.

he obv gets to evaluate him in training, like, everyday too.

A team that's been crying out for a striker all season goes and spends £27m on one who needs half a year to settle. I would say that is the very opposite of good management. It's just classic Everton.
The thing that bothers me the most was that he was very decent in the 1st half against Tottenham (the whole team collapsed but that is hardly his fault). He didn't have a great 2nd game, but I found it odd that he was just dropped simply because Niasse scored a goal set up on a plate for him. I happen to think that Sam is just a tad bit trigger happy.

What did the fans think of him during his first 5 games at Besiktas??

This is to be expected, he has come from a second rate shocker of a league in a country that is rubbish at Football.

He will take time to adjust.

What were the algorithms leading us to believe that he would succeed in the league? Did we use these all summer? How ridiculous

Really mate? He was playing at a team which got 14 points at the CL Group against last year's French and Portuguese champions and Bundesliga's second team. He scored 4 goals and made 2 assists in 6 games.

Just don't be this much arrogant. Yes, Premier League is way better than Turkish league but if you put Besiktas in PL, it will challenge the first four. And Tosun was the first striker of them.

I’ve heard rumours that he is meant to have been awful in training.
In his first game I thought he looked good on the ball and in the air too.

As with all our strikers, we swap them game by game so I don’t know any of them are meant to actual get used to our play or increase match sharpness.

They'll both be gone in the summer anyway, so at this stage it's just pointless being arsed by the whole situation

Total nonsense. The only reason Turkish teams do anything at all in Europe is the massive home advantage they get mainly due to their fans behaving like actual animals.
